Research focus
- Broad areas of interest: Graph Theory, Econometrics and Finance, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning
+ Protein function recognition: Develop computational methods/ tools to predict protein function, protein- protein interactions, conserved region, and correlated mutation.
Case study: PMO, Influenza, Potassium Channel family
+ Quantitative Finance: Develop statistical models, algorithms and ultimately, software tools for statistical arbitrage. Investigating the micro structure of financial market: correlation, cointegration, lead/lag relationships and their application to risk management, algorithmic trading.
